Our Story
On point sharpening is young, but full of vigour and determination. Established in 2019 the workshop specialises in providing first class blade and clipper sharpening. We also provide servicing for any industry that relies on a sharp edge.
From dog groomers to Michelin-star chefs, we don’t shy away from a challenge and are more than happy to assist you with your routine sharpening and beyond.

Ethan.
Craftsman (and a little bit of a show off).
Ethan is one of those talented buggers who is able to perfect any skill he turns to*.
The son of a builder, and a craftsman at heart. He’s always had a strong connection to working with his hands and creating awesomeness. Growing up he could be found tinkering in the shed or thinking up new crazy inventions (that actually work).
Despite this, Ethan comes with a 25 year career as a sought after Intensive Care Nurse. He has worked around the world. Ethan has been able to harness those skills of methodicalness, attention to detail, and of course, care and translate it to his steel.
Ethan has been honing (get it) his skills in sharpening and servicing of steel for the last few years. He has spent time with expert tutelage by prominent sharpeners and metal-smiths. He’s more than excited to now be working for his own clients.

Bethwyn (aka Red).
Front of house (because the back is a mess)
This little ranga is as fiery in her heart as she is in her spikey red hair.
She’s as tenacious as can be and is as fun as a brand new bouncy ball (and about as energetic as one too).
She’s the youngest of 4 children, so she knows how important it is to get s**t done! But, she kicks butt in a classy way
Red comes from a background of first-class customer service and office administration. She’s the perfect yin-to-Ethans-yang. Her care for her clients, and almost-semi-diagnosable-OCD behaviour makes her the best conduit between the workshop and the customer. She ensures that you get top quality work and great service.
Hunty (aka Hunter)
Resident foxy, octogenarian(he’s old), mouse catcher, food vacuum, door bell and alarm clock (around dinner time anyway). Despite what Ethan and Red may think, this little fella rules the roost. He is always by their side; in the workshop, office, or even with his head out the car window during delivery day.
